No need to call anybody, its only required if you change your address. As a law abiding licensed firearms owner, who has had his previous safe checked at the last license renewal, you are fully capable of complying with the law without having plod come round and check your workmanship. And they will then check it again and your next license renewal.
I advised them when I changed address. That was one year ago, still waiting to hear back…
I've moved a safe within my previously inspected residence, added new safes, added and deleted locking racks etc. Never advised Plod and at subsequent inspections there was never an issue. The guy just checked fixings and locks were up to scratch etc.Quote:
