Good to see appropriate charges laid. No one should have to face a f..Kwit with firearm “hunting” in the bush at 2am, or any time after dark.

Infuriating isnt it -the antics of an unlicensed ill prepared specimen of humanity resulting in death of another is used to tar and feather responsible FALOS,whilst being totally insensitive to others concerns . Cahill should know better than to run off at the mouth but hey thats modern social media for you!

I’d love to see a school programme introduced to give everyone a bit of firearm knowledge but man the Karens would tangle some g strings

One of the local schools was intending to have an air rifle event on one of the school camps. Funnily enough, that didn't last. Kids were highly peeved about that not going ahead...

Our local does that gibo, every December the senior room goes on a deer hunt in the Ruahines we haven't failed yet.
Not always easy with kids in tow, they have to carry the whole deer out, then we give them a butchery lesson.

We go to a mohaka camp mid year where the kids shoot clays with 20 guage and 410 and targets with 22s last year every kid had a go.

I dont no of any other schools doing that!
    I'll pm ya some pics

I went on a town school camp last year, over the week they had two groups of 35 kids plus female teacher aids and parents.
3 of us run the slug guns and everybody had a go including adults.
This students leading up to this had been taught the seven basic rules and very well behaved
