About LinkBacksLicenced firearms dealers already have a permanent amnesty provision in the Arms Act (Sec 10 (2)). I have used this a lot over the years to make pistols, etc. legal. Of course only law-abiding owners will use this to make their firearms legal. Criminals don't obey laws, and they certainly won't want to get rid of any 'tools of trade'!
