that's already been done in Ch-Ch, converting blank firing replicas to fire live rounds....doubt they were safe, reliable or even accurate but it was being done and being sold to gangs

I’ve got a buck in my pocket that says it will largely involve gang members and so again I say to the Minister of Police and the Police Commissioner, you know who they are and you know where they are so just for one afternoon take all of the Police off sitting on the side of the road with their speed detectors and go and hassle the shit out of these pricks with patches on their backs.

a friend said he had a 3d printer that could make a gun..........................i've had a canon printer for years :P

Barrels can be made and rifled entirely by hand tools. No lathe needed (although it makes things much easier) and a basic rifling machine can be made entirely from wood (as they used to be by old gunsmiths up until the late 1800's). There have been many very high-quality guns made over the years by top makers using very basic gear (forge, anvil, hammers, chisels and files).

Let's face it. I seriously doubt the majority of people who would want to make their own firearm for illegal purposes, wouldn't be worried about a high-quality firearm with a rifled barrel.
If they wanted to make something they could copy a Sten gun and make it out of pipe and round bar. it would be cheaper to buy a lathe and small drill mill and do that than buying a good quality 3d printer. At least they could be used for other things.

they dont need to....they can import real ones with relative ease....if container loads of drugs get in...chances are more than high that guns do too....and they wont be single barrel break open types either..

someone posted up a link some months back that showed a rifled muzzle loader being made from scratch..took two fellas best part of a week to do it...but do it they did and fired it afterwards.
