A man has been rescued from the Kaimanawa Ranges today after suffering a gunshot wound.

Police say the man was helicoptered to Waikato Hospital and they are speaking with a second man who was with the injured man.

Rescue teams were alerted to the situation after an emergency beacon was activated.

Police are investigating to understand the circumstances around how the man received his injuries and say at this time there is no further information available about the incident.

Well if you ban everything potentially dangerous that is safe as houses when using common sense, the world would be full of idiots..... What? ... hang on...

No - but I forget the exact Stats - but more people die in the States from falling down stairs than guns - I think I have that right
Sure someone will correct it if I wrong-a

    Wouldn't surprise me if true.

People are stupid and die in some needless ways.

I almost got cleaned out by a camper van the other day by them crossing the centerline on a corner.
Not saying I would have died if we did collide, but got me thinking.

No matter how we think we are in control and are safe... we are not. There is always some other fuckwit that can ruin your day.

Flat earthers the lot of them I reckon. They are clearly trying to disprove Darwinisim. Stupidity is natures way of weeding our the dumb ones which strengthens the gene pool of those remaining.
