@Sasquatch
Went to COLFO's Home page through your link - saw the supporting organisations logos there.
A couple of organisations of licensed FAO's don't seem to be there - NZCTA and TSNZ.
Maybe they do, but didn't see their logos there.
Being a non-competitive shooter of Smallbore and a relapsed clay target shooter, perhaps a part of my club membership fees (both affiliated to their respective National bodies), don't get to COLFO.
It's great to see that some of COLFO's affiliated associates and supporters are in the loop - but there's still a large group of LFAO's, who don't belong to any of these organisations.
How does COLFO (as the most politically active group) intend to get these shooters/hunters involved in protecting their ownership of firearms?
I feel that the general shooting public are apathetic (as usual - along with non-firearms owners), about anything to do with their firearms.
Perhaps they've been 'infected' by the misinformation peddled by the Press (in my opinion the most anti-gun biased of the opposing groups), and exposure tobthe constant misinformation promoted by the management of the Police Union.
I don't, unfortunately, have an answer to the issues involved - but really appreciate the effort of COLFO and others to protect what few others seem all that concerned about.
