In my humble opinion I think anyone that could make the decision to shoot at eyeshine only, has zero experience and most likely lacks the strict supervision that a lot of us received when we were fostered into hunting. Something that maybe could be addressed during the licencing process.


I remember when I was meat shooting there were fake eyes set up everywhere that had impacts all around them.
Some of those impacts proved some people were not only amazingly stupid they had no business carrying a rifle the shooting was that bad

I have been hunting deer for almost 40 years. I have never seen a deer stand stock still or at least blink or look away whether under a light or not, for any longer than a few seconds.
