I often wonder whether a commercial armoury might be the answer. Tons of people live in shit neighbourhoods; can't be bothered spending the coin on a decent setup cos they live in a renter; the missus doesn't like guns at home for whatever reason; away for work for long periods; have one or two guns they might use often, but have a pile they don't use for whatever reason.

Get a suitable building, secure the fuck out of it, wire it to the hilt, and charge people a fee to store their shit. Humidity control and that sort of thing might be easier with a whopping setup like that too. It may not make commercial sense however, as no-one has done it already. Hard to work out concentrations of FAL holders and numbers of guns, as we tend to keep it schtum from people we don't know. Plus the more suspicious may see it as the first place the police go if a sudden law change happens, or even to covertly record who has what.

    Meh, just an idea
