Nope... not at all. Some people have genuine questions/reasons (information, buy/sell, humor/jokes) for turning up on a forum (like myself), But then there is a special breed who seem to post pointless crap (whether it be starting new threads or posting in them) that screams "im not sure what to do with my life right now so ill turn to the forums for attention and for some sense of purpose or security", or maybe they are just plain bored... Who knows.
