    Not enough !

Good to see these scum got convicted but the sentences handed down are NOT a deterrent, 4 years - they'll probably be out in 2.
Burglary and theft (+illegal sale) of firearms should carry MUCH greater penalty .... 10 yrs min.
If Cahill and Gillespie want to change rules to improve safety for cops and joe citizen, this is where they should be directing their energy.

Nope. According to some it must absolutely be the right sentence because the judge wouldn't make a mistake and it is his or her decision and not yours and a bunch of other snivelling bullshit. But for the record and at the risk of yet again being accused of mob mentality. I agree with you.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I wonder if it would serve as a deterent if they shot them all, with the firearms they stole.

Now you see, I would play paper, scissors rock for the chance to pull the trigger. In fact I would bid up to a buck fifty three in a tender as well.

    Ask the Christchurch pistol club?

I've also noticed not a single person from the club has said anything about the situation ever.
