Cars, guns, aircraft or whatever its all information processing and decision making and like it or not humans make wrong decisions sometimes.
Believing you'll never make a wrong decision is setting yourself up for a bunch of heuristic errors (confirmation bias etc) that increase the chances of making a wrong decision.
Understanding that you have the potential to make mistakes can help you establish and follow processes to ensure that you are making proper decisions based on evidence instead of assumptions and mental shortcuts.
