    Is it okay to bolt my ammo safe on top of my gun safe?

    I've got a spika gun safe and ammo safe, the ammo safe can be bolted on top if I do this is it okay and will it pass inspection?

    Yes, as long the keys aren’t stored together.

    You don't need to bolt ammo safes to surfaces. They just have to be locked and separate to the firearm safe. They can be part of the firearm safe as long as they are different keys and not stored together as Striker said above.

    Ammo can be stored in a locked ammo tin or a locked cupboard

    Just got a safe inspection as the old man renewed his license, gun safe is bolted inside of a locked 20ft container so i have the ammo,bolts,mags inside a 50cal ammo tin on the shelf, arms officer said the ammo and bolts had to be stored separated from each other in locked containers bolted to shelves even the arms officers / vettors dont know how to read their own material as i read it as the container counts as a gun safe so bolts/ammo in a 50cal ammo box and safe secured to container

    The AOs are a law unto themselves. I was forced to make all sorts of accomodations that have no basis in the arms code itself.
