Theres only a week to go and the turnout so far is less than stellar.
C'mon forum members - get off your butts and make a submission. All the info is there for you.
Please do it

too old to die young
I haven't actually submitted mine yet. That's 1 to go yet
I am certainly finding things/thinking of things daily that would not have been part of my submission if I did it a week ago. We have till the 28th, that is when I will do it.
my friends seem skeptical about how effective it'll be. I suspect there will be a bit of apathy about the process sadly
done mine
Of course. The ordinary LFO will hardly know a thing about it and even less care. Can hardly blame them. People have plenty going on in their lives. Most farmers in NZ are probably a LFO - they all have a life way beyond making submissions on this stuff.
Really, in the scheme of things it's only the intensively interested hunters and shooters who will be motivated. Trying to shame or cajole the less interested into making a submission wont get much traction. That probably includes the majority of members here too. Just my thoughts.
As Ive said before, many will say they pay a subscription to a hunting/shooting organisation for them to represent me, so why should I. They make a point. Cos thats how the ordinary person thinks.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

perhaps Thar not to bad a point for many a submission from an organization or club would that not carry more strength than an individual just a thought
Some think so. But NZDA are keen for people to make individual submissions.
Supporting an organisation is at least some sort of effort though.
And the opposition really spank COLFO for their quoted membership numbers which they say (probably correctly) are inflated and illusionary - so individual voices will count.
