Thread: Options for security camera

What type of cameras are people using to secure their premises, residence or safes etc? I’m thinking of a wifi camera that records audio and visual via a cloud or NAS system, with a battery backup in case of power failure.

A separate infra-red/motion detection sensor is also an additional redundancy. I can click into my video feed whilst not at home to scan the surroundings. Ie if the mailman is in my home or the daughter’s boyfriend has made my recliner his. Actually the last sentence was an improv, not actually part of my question.
