Top-down management, family unfriendly hours so you know your shift mates better than your partner at home (until you divorce and no longer have a partner), you toe the line completely, you do not get creative and make suggestions if you disagree with orders. And even when you leave you do not break rank and publically express opinions out of line, that is, you can check in but never leave. Looks a bit like a cult.
