    Pogo on National radio

Anybody hear Poto Williams on National Radio re firearms registration and other plans for gun ownership?

I heard an unclear news report at 4pm with the above, wondering if anybody can expand on that broadcast?

Sure it was national radio? What you're saying doesn't seem to align with the schedule.

That and Poto is out of her element.

Mrs Finnwolf says it’s National Radio she has the transistor on.

And I won’t argue that with her!

It was a news broadcast that Poto was on.

I suspect anything firearms related against LFOs would have been a light touch given the other headlines Potato is featuring in at the moment ( ie increased police funding for growth and being tough on crime).

I hope you’re right, however never underestimate the stupidity of voters.
And it depends what election bribes are chucked about.

I heard her on NZtalk with Heather, she was claiming 'going soft on crime' is sexist (or misogynistic), Heather couldn't get her to answer how exactly that's sexist other than implying any criticism of her was sexist because she's a woman. She also stated Andrew Coster did a great job on the wellington protests which got lots of LOLs until they realized she was serious.

...and then she jumped in her space ship and flew back up to uranus.

Remember when we thought old 'roid rage' Stewie was the worst Police Minister ever?

I'm still not sure. I think it will depend on how Nationals' only support party (Act) go (declining at present) and/or the Nats continuing to increase.
Over the other side Maori and Greens are a strong buffer for Labour.
It will be a close run thing.

And I think we can forget any repeals fire arm legislation wise what ever happens in the election.

Yes, unfortunately ACT's surge in support was at the cost of National at that time, and now those same voters are drifting back to the Nat's at ACT's expense. I do hope the Nat's take it out and Luxton does indeed do as he's promised and reverse the poor legislation introduced last year to do with mortgage interest for Investment property, but im not holding my breath.

Gets funny about a 1/3rd of the way in. She also admits the system failed with tarrant. I think this may be the audio the OP was looking for.

    Or maybe this one: https://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/on-air/...n-this-budget/

What a train wreck! As much as I dislike hoskings he was correct, and poto was babbling to try and make his points go away. She even busted out "it's nationals fault".

I really think labour doesn't know how the won the election, how they are in government, or what they are doing.
