Hmmm my view is that the more this is in front of the public the better. MSSA's are not used in Olympic sport hah! Neither is an F1 racing car or a rally car but that doesn't make motor sports any less of a sport than high jump. Insert Fuck me dead emoji here.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

It would seem that so far Minister Nash more nouse than Chris Cahill....who articulates nonsense....
we do not "need an AR15" .....we don't need a million dollar McLaren....but some people would like to own one for their own pleasure...that is our privilege Mr Cahill that we are willing to pay for....

New Zealand Police Association president Chris Cahill says this isn't good enough.
"The Minister is too cognisant of a small group of gun lobbyists, of which the influence on him is out of proportion to the actual views of firearm owners."

I d reply that "the medias are too cognisant on a small group of anti gun lobbyists ( who does not legitimately represent the police), of which the influence on them ( media) is out of proportion to the actual views of the actual police."

I am guessing that Chris Cahill lives in a house.Almost certainly a lot nicer house than mine......he does not need that house he could live in a tent or under a bridge where trolls belong.

is Cahill trying to get a job in aussie of something like that and he is just trying to make his CV look better? Look at that muppet Alpers. He got run out of town and ended up in OZ and he is recognized as a leading authority on gun control. I think I threw up on my keyboard a little just writing that.

well perhaps more correctly ... "he is recognized by our left wing anti gun media as a leading authority on gun control ... when it suits them"
The rest of us informed gun owners and voters know better.
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck ... its a duck. Cahill & Alpers are both very dangerous muppets with their own personal agendas that find favour with media.
Up to us to keep calling them out on the BS they spout.

It's a slippery slope when people need to justify to the state their "need" for something. Cahill is, like his predecessor, a solution looking for a problem.

Well he may be a problem but I am not sure he qualified as a solution for anything.

How about we ban Chris cahill?.
Oh hang on he does have the right to freedom of speech(only when it suits the left).

Imagine if one of us came out with some of his claptrap?

I honestly feel for the average cop of whom I know a few that they are represented by him.
