In all honesty bicycles would be good, help get them back into community policing. They need to work more with the community, including the firearms community, to reduce crime. Start at the bottom and they won't be so busy at the other end of the spectrum.
The traffic is so congested in the mount and Tauranga coppers on bikes with lights, would as fast as a fart!! They could check phones, Wof and regos on the way, make a bloody fortune!!

They could use Limes......i've seen them around the city. Jesus they can move. pop a few coppers onto those and crims will be buggered. And at 30c a minute way cheaper than the new smaller holdens...

Indeed. Limes are acceptable, but you cannot have onions on top of your sausage at the Bunnings Sausage sizzle in case you cause a slip and fall

Ive just had an epiphany. We can use cooked onions like road spikes. Be really effective on those new lime scooters.

all we need these days is polis who will genuinely engage as to what the voters want ,what resources the incumbent govt can provide, and a willingness to sit down and thrash out some sort of solution to the situation -obviously no instant cures ,but the ability to make a start acknowledge the powers of commonsense with everyone reading off the same page may help.instead we have polis running about giving handouts to syncophantic causes and populist issues ,whove had zillions of moolah from succesive govts but still whinge about their problem.
me -nah in a happy space -got me new mancaveyesterday in a magnificent wee bit of dealing.reduction of some $500.00on the price .thanks to my kids and their partners for watching out for the old fart.!

Problem is most of them have that backwards, they think they know best and that their job is to trick voters into supporting them so they can tell the public what to do.
