Purchased a few mosin stripper clips from an online store in Poland and that technically required paperwork for customs not that customs stopped the package. I called the firearms safety authority and customs directly and just asked whenever I had a question about how the process was meant to go. Annoying, but not overly painful. The phone staff were pretty on point with helping or directly me to who I actually needed to speak with.

Since when are clips used to hold ammo part of a gun. Clips do not require a permit but mags do

Yea I thought that was the case as well but asked and was directed to fill in the paperwork after providing details. Annoying but thought it would be easier dealing with it upfront than getting a confused/clueless customs officer holding things.
