    Policeman shoots himself in foot

Not sure if this has been up before? One thing I find interesting is how Work Safe have nothing to do with it.

Maybe thats why the Police are anti AR15s at the moment. They are a very dangerous weapon in the wrong hands.

Aren't the police, fire, army etc exempt from Work Safe?

Had to have a good chuckle over that one
But its a very serious issue

I am sure we had a long thread recently where someone stated the NZP are an elite group of specialy trained people who should always be armed because their low rate of fuck ups.

The real answer is that every is human and fuck ups happen.

Nope, with the new Health and Safety Act, no one is exempt. Everyone has to follow the process. From memory, both Army and Police have been taken to court under it, with individuals facing criminal charges and the organisations facing massive fines.

It is present in the military and imo it has ruined the quality of training the Army for instance can provide.
They are supposed to train as they fight.

The most important ingredient you need for a fuck up is a human

There is a very compelling argument that JFK was killed by his own secret service due to sloppy handling drills of a rifle. These sorts of things shouldn't happen, but they do.

Saw that doco. Very very compelling. It started, and I thought ''here we go, another bunch of whackos''.. But having seen it I am near convinced that they are right, that the stand in rookie agent zapped the President with the AR by accident

The firearm was sent to police armery for inspection....
I would of thought it should been independent.
And more training was needed about how to use the safety....
They really are scraping the bottom of the barrel for cops. Most kids with slug guns know about the safety.

Yup it all now makes sense to me.
I reckon they just want to ignore, that something so stupid could have killed the president.
They even disproved the magic bullet theory that hit him first and went into the governor.

jesus i bet that smarted his foot will be a hell of a mess if it was the 223 round
if it was the first time i could understand it but didnt they have several incidents with the glocks.
including accidental discharges and culminating in an instructor poppining himself in the leg.
6 days firearms training aint enough

It fits everything that seemed shaky about the situation. The smell of powder at street level, the implausible interval between shots, everyone was looking everywhere around them for the shooter, why the autopsy was so spooked out, the very reason it was suppressed, bullets coming from directions that couldn't possibly happened etc etc. In my head it doesn't even remotely seem a mystery any more. There are loads of theories, and most have holes in them that you could drive a bus through (even though it was filmed from several angles before, and one during -in 1963!) and this one fits everything so neatly it really HAS to be right! It's almost funny that it was 50 years before it was solved when you think about it.
