So according to this all those of us with or wanting a endorsement are going to need 2 safes. One for the firearm and one for the part to make said firearm inoperable.
Ain't seeing anything in the Arms ACT about such "requirements".....
Arms Act 1983 Section 32 (1) (b)
Edited to point out that the police document doesn't say all endorsed firearms need to be inoperable, only restricted weapons.
