Thread: Rifle storage in your car?

There's what the law actually states, then there's what the police wishfully tries to enforce on top of that. They often aren't the same thing.
My understanding is the firearm needs to be out of sight, inoperable, and ammunition stored separately in a locked container e.g. glovebox.
I don't think the firearm itself necessarily needs to be in a bag or case at all as long as it's out of sight.
