    Bugga not a cool experience, I wouldn't write the gun off, a new extractor and spring will probably fix it along with checking head space and barrel fit, try not to use oil on 10/22 actions as it tends to make a paste with the powder residue and gum everything up Teflon spray is what I use, take it back to the shop and see what they say
