What the HELL is going on with the amount of shootings lately have people forgotten the 7 basic rules or what is going on
a mate and i have been teaching his 12yr old son the rules around firearms including range safety when teaching him to shoot the one thing that is drilled into his head is identify what you are looking at its not rocket science people

yep. I shoot small game on private land, and learning to identify my target or looking behind what I'm shooting at because to hit a building, sheep, cow or horse would cost me more than losing permission and access.

So I'm constantly second guessing myself unless I'm sure of what my backstop will be.
