    Some people

it would seem, are just not getting the bloody message. The following is a cut n paste from a FB page today

Kia Ora well it seams we have gotten around to that time of the year again. I’m just going to chuck this up as a good ol reminder.
I just got out of the bush from a pre roar hunt and while I was in I was chatting to some blokes that had met another hunter walking out as they were walking in. They as you do got chatting to the hunter walking out he said “got a goat unfortunately” he said” HE HAD SEEN A PATCH OF WHITE BETWEEN THE BUSHES, THINKING IT WAS A DEERS ASS TOOK A SHOT, TURNS OUT IT WAS A WHITE PATCH ON THE SIDE OF A GOAT” he was hunting the same day I was, Tell ya what i was hunting midday with out a shirt on and I’m pretty fuckin white. While no people were involved bit of a wake up call.

For that very reason I do not hunt on public land during the roar. Anytime I do hunt on public land in the rest of the year I always go mid-week just to reduce the dick-head factor.

Look at what's happening on the roads, no reason to think that you are any safer from morons in the bush.

Bright colours just give the "morons" better targets.

And as the saying goes... The only thing worse than being shot... is the knowledge you were shot by someone with the IQ of a slug.....
