Hope they get proper time.
Is .455 a relatively uncommon calibre in nz? You'd think a search on the police computer with something like that would bang out some quick results...
suprising that the cops give a shit
"Get in contact with the police", yea good one you lazy fucks! look up your own records of what has been reported stolen for fucks sake! They will be in that great big "wont collect revenue " file.
Its not like everyone everywhere reads every news report.
Its a wonder that they even new what they were. Some of them are pretty green these days:P
"Eeerrrrm sarge there's a few bangsticks in here"
Nah the handful of cops I know are a wee bit more savvy than that.
obviously an uninformed opinion or is there some history to the post. I work along side the Police a fair bit and have found them to be nothing but diligent and on to it, pity that the legal process afterwards needs to be sorted. The new cop on the beat has probably passed tests that you couldn't and is better and more informed now more than ever.
Lazy cunts wouldn't even look at the crime scene when my jet ski was stolen. Was asked if it was insured and when I said no the lady on the phone basicly said we aint even looking for it then.... so yea you're right some history there G A.
that's a bumma VC I would of pushed the envelope had it been me, always some one lets the majority down in any job. Sergeant should of been notified for a please Explain from the watch house staff member.
Me wonders if they still had the old firearm register in play that it may help reunite the owners sooner.
Then again, who's to say the recovered firearms belonged to legitimate owners ?
Soo many thinks to think about.
Just be thankful they are no longer in the unsafe hands of their last keepers.

Sorry for double post website paused on me....
At some point they must have had legitimate owners?
Webley's are fairly collectible. Hopefully it doesn't end up destroyed. If the markings or numbers have been ground off there is bugger all to go on.
