if normal shooting rules are applied, it should work for any caliber.

if your upper is capable of 1.0MOA which seems to be possible if others using this cal are to believed then i don't see why 200+ yards shots using a rangefinder, balistic app, good dialable scope and good techneque, shouldn't be a problem.
