I know I should (but will probably be too slack to do so), have printed copies handy for any of those eventualities. in the car glovebox and stashed by the front door for example
Then you can hand it to them before they even start. If they know they cant feck you around it might stop some of the cheeky "do-gooder" types who would try it on for shitz and gigs.
