Why??? Even the FSA didn't know.
They told me its all so new and they really have no idea what they're doing.... says a lot really.

I registered a firearm ex dealer last week, he hadn't done his bit even though trans-action happened previous week. I had to do it over the phone due to caliber not being on the Registry list even though it showed on the manufacturers. The operator placed it on my registration list without knowing where it was purchased. Can see a system that is due to have great holes to fill.

If the firearm is net new to the register they don't care where it came from. Their focus is on increasing total registrations to pump their numbers up so they can write press releases congratulating themselves.
