Just looking at the 'help pages' and
Identification markings (serial numbers)
You cannot register an arms item online if it:
* has no identification marking, such as a serial number, or
* has one that uses characters other than A-Z, 0-9, slashes and dashes.
Now I have a TOZ that looks to be from 66/67 going by the cyrillic stamp of "Г" as part of the serial number.
When I get to registering it do I just use the nnnn of the Гnnnn?
I'd hate to have to restamp it
My first rifle was a 22 Toz, it had a "backwards" R in the serial number which really threw the policeman at the arms office into a spin with his typewriter....."hey Boss how the hell to I enter this serial number " :)
That was 42 years ago now, everything was registered....until they decided it was a waste of time, effort & money.....history repeats they reckon........
Yes. I am about to renew my "life time" license for the 4th? time....
That's what I have done.
Bought enough smallbore ammunition for 4+ years and I reload my fullbore ammunition.
I have enough primers for at least 2 years, powder for 2, projectiles for 3+ years.
I don't need to purchase anything and don't intend to register until nearly the last minute.
Recent events have shown that sworn police officers can't be trusted with registry information so mine stays out of the registry for now.
So we don't have to register??? At least not yet?? I'm so confused with it.. and I really don't want to do it.
Perfect thanks.. I'm just going to keep ignoring the emails then. They called me today to but didn't recognize the caller, so didn't pickup.
Depends on WHY you are getting emails in first place...
