Vault E Cat 8 gun safe

On trademe - anyone got one? It looks to be identical to the bite fishing extreme security one but $100 cheaper. Even their A cat variant looks the same. Made by the same factory maybe?

Looking for a safe in the next month or so, not many choices in Auckland. Extreme security is the right size and fits inside a 400 depth cupboard but out of stock in 2 shops and said to have a price hike. Like the combination lock on the Boston security (no keys to worry) at GC but no internal compartment and handle extrude to 460mm+. Kilwell is a bit roomy but seriously don't think I need that capacity any time soon also has a handle won't fit in my cupboard. Edge 6mm version at paint ball shop not certified for E. Baronet either too big or too small.

    Any recommendations? Thanks

Anything you might put in the upper compartment of a safe wont need a safe in the first place so imo, it doesnt matter..

Only issue with one of my safes that has that compartment is that I cant fit in a shotgun with an extension on it, so would rather go without it.

Hah, yes! I have a bunch of pistols in my upper compartment.. For some reason I was thought he was referring to those little lockboxes in the top of the safe.

Hi mate, have you got your E safe installed yet? I am also in Auckland and planning to upgrade my safe to E cat. However, I called the AO, and got very vague as well.

Not yet. Reloaders don't do delivery, serious shooters do delivery/installation but they only got kilwell (a bit too big for where I want to put it) instock and priced $200 more than reloaders. Guncity had 20% discount on safe a few weeks back, really liked the Boston security one with combination lock, but depth is also an issue, plus mounting holes on bottom only. I asked AO for a list of approved safe they just refer me to pol67n. I feel like putting this off again.

Thanks Inov8a. That safe looks well partitioned and I like keypad, could be a real contender had I got a bigger space.
I bought an extreme security last week, my cupboard is about 380mm deep, not many choices there.
