Only exception I've heard of (on this forum I think) was where the "vehicle" was in fact a house truck in which the FAL holder lived, but there are also cases of an AO declining to approve storage in such a vehicle. Such is the nature of discretion.

A "house bus" is still a vehicle, and in the case of the one mentioned by myself, is still very much road worthy and road legal.. Crazy !
