Once again, had no idea that this was a problem - you'd be forgiven for believing we will end up with a registry on machined wood and black paint at this rate. That and people yelling 'BANG'.

pretty sure the old matchlock wouldnt be hard to make up... using a fuse would be easier still...where do you draw the line???
stick n string has been used for centuries and when you see it used correctly its shockingly effective.....
Rusky firepeople were dealing with big fire (in nightclub??)for a flaregun used in doors assumably to poke hole in someone....
where do you draw the line???
Im not a fan of Mr Tipple but he actually made some very valid points for once in that article....lets chase whats out there in hands of baddies harder now ....
Fuck me dead! I had custody of a starter pistol that was my maternal grandmother’s for years. Nan was ninety three when she died back in 98 so I am guessing that thing has to be way older than me. I gave it away a few years ago ( can’t even remember who to) so if Hopkins follows through does that then mean that I will retrospectively become an illegal arms dealer? Ha ha ha ha
since most of them are made from pot metal (zinc alloy) its way more dangerous for the person firing it.
i hope some w---ker points it at a cop and gets shot.
We all know this to be fact but since when do both the NZ Media and NZ Police for that matter let actual facts and truth get in the way of a good story.
I use a athletics starter pistol for training the dog. I specifically use one that dont look like a gun so no one gets annoyed or frightened. I would prefer to use a proper shotgun but even though I could where we train its not worth the risk of someone calling the cops as my country dog walking area has now become busier than SH1 with fisherman, dog walkers, mountain bikers, fly tippers and stolen car disposer of'ers
So how are the people that are into (or getting into) airsoft supposed to get on? Do gooders are slowly sucking all enjoyment out of life!
Their action is justified by allegedly having seen a single example of the problem they want to tackle.
These clowns are in love with the problems they identify and fight tooth and nail to avoid any solution. If they were interested in solutions they'd listen to what people who own and use firearms have to say.
@Rushy, you will have fun in the proscribed manner or there shall be consequences
You're still enjoying life? Don't let it show, or someone will dob you in.Attachment 210084
Shit, crappy starting pistols, as these guys really thick? If I was making a pistol I wouldn’t be converting a shit metal pistol! I’d be starting from scratch on my lathe and mill and making something worthwhile, as I’m sure many are.
It beggars belief:wtfsmilie:
The Japanese ex-PM would differ with lathe and mill.
A "craft" .45
I give up, is it not pretty obvious to anyone with common sense that it's not hard to make a gun? I guess this appeals to terrified sheep people like the ones driving round is a car by themselves wearing a COVID mask. FFS I guess it's easier than actually dealing with crime, just ban ban ban. Look there i have solved the problem!
Next, you'll need a firearms licence to shop at Bunnings...
