Thread: 1st batch of 00 buckshot

just had a play with some steel shot wads...no cusion leg and no slit in shotcup...can fit 10 x #00 buckshot balls in without trouble....eye opening was the .30 calibre buckshot balls...16 fit in easily...now the wad petals being thicker neither lot will "stack" as suck..no neat 3 rows of 3 sort of deal but being an unslit shot cup it MIGHT pattern much tighter...I would have to look carefully at payload weight if want to load some up,but just interesting none the less trying the harder shot cups...most buckshot loads have no petals at all.
