    Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus

Pretty happy with the new gun. Had the previous model A400 kickoff. The new Plus model has some nice features and also functioned flawlessly over this opening weekend.

The dual recoil dampeners in front of the recoil pad appear to be have been dropped in favour of a micro gel pad and a dampener behind the pistol grip. Still a very soft shooting gun.

Yep - the idea behind moving the "kick-off" from in front of the recoil pad - to behind the pistol grip, is that now when it compresses under recoil, all the movement now happens in front of your face so nothing moves against your cheek.
Whereas with the old version when you fire and the "kick-off" compresses - the stock moves against your cheek.

Thanks Chris - I thought I had somehow missed out on the KO model so spent some time on the internet...not a lot to be found re the KO workings of the Plus. Is more pleasant to shoot than the older KO model on the A400 as you got a definite 'crunch' back and forwards with the hydraulics. Have an SV10 Prevail with the KO...probably overkill for light clay target loads. Finally found it shown in this video at 3:53.
