Hi all, I have been asked by a friend about the above shot gun.
He has been told it brakes in to 2 pieces and is a collectible....well everything is a collectible.
Would be great full for any information regarding this, thanks

Yes, the Silver Pigeon has a take-down barrel. Open the action, undo the knurled nut on the barrel lug (it remains captive in the lug), twist the barrel to the right a 1/4 turn and the barrel can be removed. They are well-made, trouble-free guns and I used one on the Awatere Rabbit Board when I was 18/19. I bought it from Alan Millars shop in Dunedin for 35 Pounds, second-hand but in new condition.
If the gun is in tidy condition and works as it should it's worth maybe $500, tops
It's not collectable as a fine London built English sie by side is
In my humble opinion,
Bugger - when I saw the heading, I thought I might learn a bit more about my U/O.
