    Blueing barrels

    Hi all
    I have recently aquired a Aya no2 sidelock and a Brno sidelock, both have been stored for the last 30 yrs in their gun bags and the barrels are in need of re blueing ,
    So who does blueing now , Auckland , Hamilton area and Is it worth h,
    Or Are The kits you can buy any good

    You can get kits. It takes a bit to get the hang of it. Ive done a few now they come out ok for a cold blue.

    Greg Maniatis in ChCh. Does some amazing work with shotguns and nice bluing jobs

    Forum member in Hamilton used to do blue jobs.

    Thanks guys for the advice, they are well useable as they are now but has a few pit marks , not rust, n look a bit tarnished, but a squirt of wd and then mint for a spell,
    Am toying with the idea is it worth getting them done, as the Aya is lovely,
