Sizing and shape between the brands differs greatly. At 6'1" and 100kg I find Beretta vests to be too tall and thin - by the time i've found one with enough space around the shoulders, the rest is heading towards the knees. I've got a Browning Claybuster from GC that fits nicely and is marked a large (I'd normally be XL in most NZ gear.)
If you are left eye dominant or shoot left shoulder you'll have more challenges as you'll need an ambi or l/h vest. I'm not sure what's up Auckland way, but Brocos in Tauranga has a reasonable range.

I've also bought vest's from NICA shooting in the states which is a good option if you're confident about your sizing.

Ive got a ridgeline one -got it cheap on a smith city closing down sports goods dept sale . Im left handed so simply got an old hippy leather handbag ,a bit of yoga mat neoprene and sowed me up a recoil pad which is pinned on with a safety pin.It also does my neoprene ammo vest . for what i shoot(mostly DIY sporting clays the recoil pads on the guns are more than ample anyway.
