Better advice would be to get a pistol cleaning rod with an adapter to fit a 12ga bore mop or slotted tip. Carry that around in your trolley at matches and clean your chambers after each stage. A couple of passes is enough. It helps the empties fall out easier. Depends on how serious about competing you are, but most shooters do not enjoy manually extracting a rogue case midway through a stage.

It took me a few years in the game before I learned this trick off some successful shooters and it soon became second nature after visiting the unloading table to load up my ammo strip and clean the shotgun chambers ready for the next stage.

I won a couple of shiny overall National Champion buckles and more than a few North Island Champion trophies so it certainly didn't hurt lol.
Thanks for the advice. That sounds like the plan.
