Convert 12g SxS from Extract to Eject

Could some knowledgeable person tell me if its feasible to convert a standard type of DB sidexside 12g shotty from extract to eject? Is it just a matter of a stronger spring? Model specific? Gunsmith job or a bit of a home fettle?

    Cheers

Nope, it's a whole new set of mechanical doohickeys, extractors etc that work independently and are triggered by that barrel firing.
If you want to speed reloads you could try the cowboy action technique of shucking the open gun vigorously forward with the barrels horizontal so the empties are left behind

Depends on make of gun. Sold a great bakail s/s to fella on forum here. He tootooed with a nut and completely changed how gun removed shells. The bakail singles sometimes also had lever on forend you could move to change if poked them out to remove or threw them over your shoulder. Maybe them ruskis but cleverer in how they made these things?

Thought I had a good candidate to cut down for CAS but extractor too slow. Gorosabel.

I didn't think CAS allowed ejector guns which is why that shuck the barrels forward technique came about

Ok, I need to go have another look then. Seemed as slick as Owl snot how those hulls hit the ground behind them. Guess I just assumed ejectors. Clearly some more learning required

Not allowed ejectors but you do a bit of work with a Dremel to open up the back of the chambers and round a few things off. Makes it easier to slide shells in and huck them out afterwards. Some guys also clean the chambers between rounds to
prevent any unburnt powder or debris building up.

    Oh yeah ?
So clever they put the lever that turned the ejector on and off right where you wanted to hold it single handed
So clever you could knock it from one position to the other unknown
So clever it would cut you hand when it was wet and cold

Some folks are hard to please....it's not perfect design but it's still plurry clever being able to choose.

Left handedness is the provence of liberals, free thinkers and intellectuals all enemies of the state. You would have been offered corrective education in an all inclusive resort that would be have made you appreciate this wonder of the proletariats engineering skill.
