the pumps generally retail for 100-200bucks cheaper than the semi auto, dunno why ,snobbery i guess.in saying that though GSP follower used an escort 20g pumpsofor ducks geese etcetc before he traded irt and 75bucks for his present remington.the secret to these guns is as said a rigorous maintainence schedule.they aint no top line machinery but treated proerly they do the job.
ive just added a nice wee boito sxs 12g to my collection ,a later model than the one my brother 7Istarted our duck shooting careers with.looking forward to tapping pigeons &maybe a few quail ,bunnies etc with it.still undecided re opening chokes out for steel as my other two 12g's handle that.action is tight and bores clean as a whistle.

The main problem @kotuku is when you get the gunsmith to fix it and you have to explain the credit card debit for "Escort Service" to the Mrs.

Dont worry about that "Escort Service" turning up on your bill and the missus getting snarly.
When you get your barrels done to Imp Cyl, get out that Visa card and go to Roger's Reaming Service and she wont be suspicious, and you will get nice shiny large bores.

They are cheap down your way Major.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
