    When it comes to gun maintenance us kiwis are terrible at times for the lack of it.

    A bit of oil on a patch after every use, bore snake it when you get it out of the safe and a bit of wd40 on the exterior metal surfaces won't do ya wrong.

    For lubrication of the action( semis) slide glide is you're friend as it's a grease not a oil so wont evaporate as it heats up during use.

    For my chokes I just apply a dash of gunslick oil to the choke and screw it in and out a few times to make sure it's properly coated.
