Hi Guys,
I am pretty new to this forum and the reason why i joined the forum is that lately I developed this interest in hunting and shooting. I would like to get started from somewhere but no one in my friend circle here are into hunting and shooting. How do i go about learning things?
Some suggestions will be helpful :)

Where are you living? Once we know that someone may be generous enough to take you for a shoot at some targets. The Local NZDA would also be a good start. :)
Log off the computer and get out into the bush is the best way to learn imo
Gibo is on to it. Tell us where you live and someone might step up and help.
Have you got your gun licence yet? As good a place to start as any....
Contact your local branch of deerstalkers and book yourself onto their HUNTS course which is tailored to the sort of thing you want to start with

Even if you only ever end up shooting goats these guys will get you started, also goats taste good..

Plenty of good buggers up there to give you some pointers.
I had a look at NZDA's website and there is one place close to where i live where they teach hunting - Pt. Chev.
I will probably contact these guys and check with them.

NZDA North Auckland branch is another option, their clubhouse is on their own range property just out of Riverhead on the Coatesville road.
