Thread: Lee slugs

Has anyone loaded the Lee keyhole slugs, If so what cases, wads, powder did you use and what velocity and accuracy did you get?

Be precise.......which slug? 1 ounce or 7/8 ths ounce. Oh, and there is a load of posts on this if you Google.

Hi there, yes i used to cast and load the 7/8 oz lee slug, the mould didnt last long as i thought it might have but the slugs cast fine.
I just used data for comparable shot loads, in any wad that gave a good crimp.
Accuracy was never great but i never took the trouble to try and get it better.
There is another slug around i would have liked to try, looks like an over grown air rifle pellet.
Also i have a mould for the 577 snider that threw a great 20g slug from memorey
