Left hand eject Semi auto shotgun.

I have just scored one of the above, but am right handed. Anything to be aware of? Just for rabbits and hares. Have fired a few rounds, and seemed ok. Didn't notice the cartridges ejecting the other way. Cheers.

Probably the safety if it works the other way.

Find someone to swap shotties with?

I have shot right handed ones for most of my life, only got a correct handed one recently. While it's nice not to have to swap hands to stablise the gun whyle loading and the safety is on the correct side these aren't big issues. Gas in the face is not as bad as with some semi auto rifles as most shotgun ammo shoots fairly clean.

I wear glasses all the time, so I imagine that would circumvent that.

Know a few who have 'wrong sided' semis including my brother who said he never noticed the empty shells either.

Only thing to be aware of is the cast of the stock may have you shooting up the side of things straight on but can help with crossing targets or game depending on the degree on the stock

100%cackhander here and never have any trouble. I refuse to pay an extra $100 for a left hand version .

do all your drills righthanded just prior to firing throw to left shoulder .

In my TF army days truck a couple .

M16 cause MT ejects 45'to rear I once had a hot case burn my jaw when it got caught in battle bowler strap ,and the bren gun -lefty lookes like an octopus trying to interfere with itself!

SLR-good as gold ,as said do drills righthanded ,throw to lshoulder and hey presto were in business.

I too stand on the wrong side of a right ejecting shotgun without any issues other than I can’t shoot for sh!t, in the Maimai it works well, lefty’s on the right hand side, rights on the other end

100% whyle I love BREN guns the idea of firing one left handed seems uncomfortable.

Great on patrols to have a left hander either scout or second.

because the bren has off set sights(L)side as mag in topmounted ,its bloody impossible to get a proper sighting left handed,ya end up looking looking like a randy octopus about to gangbang a set of bagpipes. . it has also got another mongrel trait -bottom ejecting empties .yes hot cases form a lovely wee pyramid under the gun and sooner or later ones bare skin comes in contact -no verbal responses are needed us e your own ,but it bloody stings!!

Push-button safety catch would be the only thing to be aware of. Some are reversible but most are not.

I'm left handed, after years of shooting RH shotguns I now have Remington & Benelli LH semi's and love them. And it's great to have safety's that work properly for me.
