very expensive and how about residue in barrel - no cant think of a use - well maybe one - a station I worked on we had out the back one particularly nasty stallion - we used to take stock whips out occasionally and give the ugly bugger a bit of a tong up to teach him to keep his distance - couple of those up his but would have been good -must be an american idea they can get away with firing at burglars- us well discharge on of those at someone sneaking around and end of FAL- prison possibly - certainly confiscation of firearms end of hunting etc
it would be interesting though to hear from the seller in this case what they tell customers the intended use of these is

When designing the line of ammunition intended for smooth barrel, Fiocchi took in consideration tactics and training needs of Police Forces and Special Corps
now how many fit that catergory ??? so whats the purpose of them on an open market
It's obviously for using when you wants to put a lot of 1 to 2mm penetrations in a pine board from 10m away
Well, I suppose if you woke to the sound of an intruder in your house then these might be a better option while you await the prompt arrival of the police.....
Still, by the time the ammo locker is opened and the gun cabinet is opened and these are loaded then it might be faster to just admit defeat and stab yourself and save the robber the trouble.
Imagine a house in south auckland getting shot up with it. Some of it will bounce back and hit you while the rest of it will be boucing around inside the house
Id imagine in a house situation, if a shot was fired it would most likely be at a lethal range even for these.
Ive seen it for sale before in shops.
Be ideal for teaching my old cows NOT to eat the bark off my trees. Just relies on my timing for them opening their mouth for a chew and bang! Owww! my arse hurts:o
Come in handy when the mutt is chasing the chooks, at $6 shot wouldn’t want frustration getting the better of you!!!
They are for catch and release shooting of geese hares etc
Bought a packet of similar stuff about 25 yrs ago from sportsways. Took a couple pheasant shooting during the season....My Gordon setter went on 'set' in a swamp and I could just see the top of a pukeko's head 5 metres in front of the dogs nose.....told the dog to stay while I swapped out the #5's for rubber buckshot then released the dog..First shot at about 15m dropped the Puk .........it hit the ground, then got up again.....second shot dropped it and the same thing happened.......my gordon looked at me in disgust as the Puk flew away wallowing away like a shotup WWII bomber.......
Might potentially be useful for getting rid of pigeons/starlings in a shed without putting holes all through the tin.
I would suggest may need a lot of testing to see at what range they did not blow dents in iron
As I think about this the one point that comes to mind is this: Just because we cannot think of a legitimate use, it does not mean there isn't one, and if you have a legitimate use for it then you should be allowed to buy it if you desire....If you get caught with a bunch and you do not have a legitimate use / reason then the authorities may well take a dim view of that, but if you are not doing anything illegal they can view it however they want but cannot do much....But do something illegal with it and I can see a myriad of problems coming your way. These are the decision that fit and proper people are expected to make in a fit and proper way...
If someone wanted to spend their money shooting rubber buck at a wrecked car or target, who am I to say no.....In the same vein I do not like semi auto rifles because they are not 'my thing', but I will stand up and say that anyone else who wants to use one should absolutley be allowed to use one if they are doing so ina legal manner....
Just for shits and giggles, you and me Pengy dressed in heavy great coats with safety glasses and a helmets. We start at opposite ends of my back paddock facing each other and go shot for shot taking one step forward between shots until one of us cries and then the loser changes his forum handle to Rubber Blubberer. Nah I don’t really know what they are for.
Dare you to do it in your undies
If dad couldnt reach dave wirh the shovel well, one of these might have the same effwct. ( old buggers will know what old
joke I refer to :)
Do tell Woody
Bear and coyote and other wildlife deterrent, the "bear scare guys", (what a Job), shot and haze black bears, on our local industrial site's, with bear bangers, rubber balls,
I worked for a French farm manager in Silverdale who told me that some farmers in France would fill shotgun shells with wheatgerm and shoot poachers with it. He told me it would germinate just under the skin and apparently was a real bastard to get all the small roots out. Mind you he also told me some of them would get a bulls dick and hang a bucket of water on it ( after it's been removed from the bull) and twist it as it dried to make a stock stick :wtfsmilie: might have been a cock and bull story but he seemed serious telling it at the time ( which was when the rainbow warrior was bombed which didn't endear me to him and more than he had won me over with his charming personality :ORLY: )
Those older fellas from South Africa will remember the ' snot neus' single barrel guns. They fired an assortment of projectiles. One of them been 40mm rubber bullets. The trick was to have the rubber bullet hit the ground in front of the receptive and then rely on the ricochet to do it's business. I'm told that AA batteries would fit the cases too...probably bullshit though. :ORLY:
AA batteries fit 20 gauge muzzle loading shotties. I used them as a wee tacker to tip over goats. Quite brutal at shotgun ranges.
Would that count as "GREEN" environmentally friendly battery powered pest control ?
Heard of one of the local coppers going to Suid Afrika for a trip back in the early 90s. While he was there he thought bugger it, I'll go and see the local rozzers for a chat.
Got on great and even got envied for a drive around. Wasn't used to seeing a pump shotgun clipped ro the dash. Something also tells me they gave him a pistol and hold him to shoot anyone coming to car. Basically the locals wouldn't approach a cop car without bad intent.
Back on story there was a box of batteries in the back seat which the SA police said they would drop 1 or 2 down the barrel of the Shottie. Made a huge mess that the coroner couldn't understand. They thought it was hilarious.
Some info suggests they were taser batteries or such. There were a nice fit for the shotgun barrel
i bought a box of that from Isco sports in welly in the 80s still got them somewhere
Better than paintball...
Maybe Guncity has them available for the govt to purchase for riot control?
what about shooting rubber ducks ..maybe????????????might upset the kids and wifey at bathtime though!
Or drones
