Thread: Nationals Secondary School Champs

As you will be fully aware , on trips like this the shooting is but a distant second to the power drinking and story telling .
This trip actually reminded me of days past when you and I and few who will remain nameless used to go to Greymouth to shoot sporting and maybe a even a better example Barry Town New Years shoot ( I still have a dicky liver after that episode )
I haven't had as much fun at a shoot as I had last week in years , I know what you mean about Skeet but I went to shoot the Sub Gauge events ( the 410 really sorts the men from the boys and wipes the smiles of many faces ) and I put a stir up he locals by wearing a Superman cape on day one .
The Sledging that went on in our Squad has probably never ever before been experienced at a State Skeet Shoot , and the look on the faces of some of the refs and scorers was laughable, but the funny thing is , at the end of the day we made made more friends than enemies
I will do my absolute best to get to the Sporting in Brisbane next year .
We will once again sit at a bar and drink Double Gin and Soda's , Tall glass , lots of Ice .
