One for the shotgun boys
I dont know how it happened, but i somehow came back from the shop the other day with an order for a Beretta 692 Black Edition.
Its going to be used on clays, but for the quiet evenings on the small pond id love to use it rather than my semi.
Do you guys who use over and unders a lot think it would be ok/wise to run the same lightening steel (3" #3 36gr 1640fps) load?
Will it be too hard on the barrels or receiver, or should i get some more relaxed ammo?
The gun is fully steel proof, but think that is more for steel clay ammo, which is being utilised over seas.

i don't think you a heavy load like that for evening shooting, have a look at some of the 30gr loads (game bore and falcon). i like them for small pond shooting and good luck for the weekend:thumbsup:

I tried one of my fellow shooters 692s, very very nice but it did not fit me at all and back door of the barn was the best i could do with it.
I would use lighter steel loads over a pond, not because the gun wont handle it but because your poor shoulder will love you better for it.
