    Pump Action Shotgun Sling

    Hi all,

    I have a 28" 870 with a wooden stock that I'm humming and hahing about putting a sling on.

    What's everybodys' opinions on slings? Useful or get in the way?

    If you like them, how have you attached yours to the gun?

    I'm into a bit of leatherwork so was looking at making one from leather and using off the shelf hardware at this stage.
