Thread: recoil pad

I was looking to upgrade to a flasher model Miroku but quite like the Model 70 Sporter I have with the Factory adjustable comb so have decided to fit a recoil pad to that gun .
The limbsaver grind to fit I am looking at has two sizes either 1" or 5/8ths"

For a sporting model that will see gunclub work and field work is there a prefferable size

I guess if I got the 5/8ths I probably wouldn't have to take much if anything off the end of the stock, but in the long run is that extra bit of pad a better option

I far prefer the Pachmayr pads which are far easier to finish to a fine finish.

Correct Gary, I gave up using Limbsaver some time ago

Prefer the Limbsaver as a pad.

Right I'll order the 5/8th one.
